Wildcat’s Revenge is the newest coaster to open at Hersheypark. It opened in 2023 as a steel hybrid coaster from Rocky Mountain Construction, and it was a renovation of the former Wildcat coaster that opened in 1996. Wildcat’s Revenge features the world’s largest under flip inversion which is one of the best parts of the ride. I have ridden both versions of this coaster, and Wildcat’s Revenge is much better than the original.
Wildcat’s Revenge has twelve rows and three trains. I rode Wildcat’s Revenge eight times in a variety of rows, and the back row was my favorite because the airtime felt the strongest. However, although I don’t like riding most coasters in the middle of the train, I found that the airtime was almost just as powerful in row six. There are no bad seats on this coaster.
The top speed of Wildcat’s Revenge is 62 mph, there are four inversions, and every element was intense. My favorite element on this coaster was a wave turn after the zero-G stall which gave incredible side-ways airtime.
All in all, Wildcat’s Revenge is a wonderful addition to Hersheypark, and I can’t wait to revisit the park and ride it again.
