True Food Kitchen @Edison, NJ

On December 4th, we visited True Food Kitchen near Menlo Park Mall for the first time. It has a mix of food options, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free food. The menu changes slightly by season and there are plenty of options to choose from.

During our first visit, we tried the Edamame Dumplings, the Korean Noodle Bowl, and the Umami Grass-fed Burger. We also had a special drink named the O.G. which stands for the original ginger drink. These drinks and dishes did not disappoint! The waitress also told us that these drinks are made with fresh ingredients throughout the day and there are alcoholic drinks available too.

Each of our meals tasted very fresh and the service was very good. Our waitress was very friendly, and our food came out in a timely manner. In fact, future visits also gave us the same quality of food and service. Take-out service is also quick and the food quality was the same.

The theme of the restaurant was very earthy. We were surrounded by many plants (real and artificial), and the glass windows allowed for plenty of natural light to enter the restaurant.

We didn't think we would like the restaurant as much as we did, but we have gone back multiple times since our last visit.
