On August 25th, 2023, we visited Supercharged Entertainment Edison which has the world's longest go kart track. It opened in December 2022, and we were finally able to visit the entertainment center because they started accepting reservations. In addition to
experiencing go karts, all guests can throw axes, hang out at a bar, and play arcade games.
When guests make a reservation, they are required to arrive at the entertainment center one hour before their race time. Once they have checked in and filled out a waiver on their phone, they must wait for their reservation number to be called on a speaker. We chose to play in the arcade while we waited for our number to be called. The employee calling the reservation numbers will call the numbers three times, and the guests must arrive at the racetrack as soon as possible.
Outside of the racetrack, all guests must put their loose articles in a free locker prior to entering. As a result, I don't have any pictures of the station platform because they do not allow phones on the racetrack or on the station platform. All guests are also required to wear a helmet liner and a full coverage helmet before they walk onto the station platform. These are provided by the entertainment center,
they frequently sanitize the helmets, and liners are thrown out after use.
Driving on the world's largest go kart track was fun because the layout was very long, and all guests were racing to see who can complete a lap in the shortest amount of time. The ride operators were also strict about bumping go karts and they had the ability to slow down any karts for guests who weren't following the rules.
All in all, we enjoyed our experience at Supercharged Entertainment Edison. It's amazing that we have the world's longest go kart track because it's another example of the many world record breaking attractions in New Jersey such as Kingda Ka- the world's tallest coaster, Zumanjaro- the world’s tallest and fastest drop tower, TMNT Shellraiser- the world's steepest coaster, and Thrillagascar & Jungle Jammer- the world's tallest trapdoor slides. New Jersey is a hot spot for record breaking attractions.
