On the way home from our trip to Woodbury Commons we opted to stop in Tuxedo Park for something to eat. There were plenty of options at the outlet mall, but we always love to explore what the surrounding towns look like. After a quick look on our phone for what towns and eateries were available around us, we decided to try a place called “Steve’s Tuxedo.” It is a small pizza restaurant that sits right next to an active train. Whenever the train passed by, we could feel the vibrations in the restaurant. It made us feel like we were travelers stopping at a station for food and rest. The town was surrounded with German styled buildings and overall looked very friendly.
The restaurant was small and charming. It was themed with pictures of trains all around the restaurant. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered a salad, calzone, and a small pizza (with pineapple on the side…controversial, we know haha). Needless to say, we ordered too much food. We did not expect to have such a large (and delicious!) salad, the calzone was filled with more than enough cheese, and we did not finish the pizza we ordered. We were stuffed and had food left over for the next day too.
It’s a great food place if you’re in the area or on the way back home!
