Bobolink Dairy and Bakehouse

We discovered Bobolink Dairy and Bakehouse by accident on a trip to Frenchtown, NJ.

We initially went exploring because we saw on their website that they had a wide variety of bread, cheese, and meats. We also saw that they offer tours of their grounds, cheese making classes, and bread making classes. They even host a few music events throughout the year.

We were also curious to see if we would catch sight of any cows or calves. Unfortunately, at the moment, since the cows have a large grazing area, we were unable to see them. We still enjoyed visiting the small store and bought some of their unique cherry chocolate bread. Needless to say, the bread was delicious.

After speaking with the gentleman in the shop, we also learned about the cattle dog outside the store that greeted us when we arrived. Her name is Lorraine, and she used to work with the cattle, but upon getting older, she would limp whenever there was rainy weather, so she became the new greeting dog.

Don't forget to try the cherry chocolate bread and say hello to Lorraine if you stop in for a visit. We hope to go on one of their farm tours soon.
