There are countless things to do in New York City. You can go watch a Broadway show or concert. You can go visit Central Park or other landmarks such as the Empire State Building or the Freedom Tower. You can never run out of things to do when visiting this city.

Fun Fact:
New York City goes by many names, such as "The Big Apple," "Gotham," and "The city that never sleeps," to name a few. In fact, the nickname "The Big Apple" is actually related to horseracing. "Apple" was a slang term used for "city" by people living in rural areas. Stable hands used to refer to racing in New York City as going to the "Big Apple." Participating in the New York City racing circuit was considered a huge deal. Later, the nickname was adopted by jazz musicians and used in songs.
